The design process
To generate idea's for my castle I created a mind map of ideas
We where then encouraged to research and find reference images of different parts of a castle and to find the key points we wanted to include in our designs.

Reference images for my design -
 image found - http://graphicleftovers.com/graphic/haunted-castle-4850/ (10/2012)

I took inspiration from this image as i liked the castle on top of the hill feel, also I took the winded path idea from this image and incoparated it into my design.

I used some of the images above to give me ideas for my castle to for example -
my look out point but I changed the style of mine and brought a platform out of the walls of my castle to give a better view. This area isn't protected but as its quite high up I didn't feel it was nessaserry to add walls.
